I remember about a year ago I had a friend over and it was freezing cold outside, but that didn't stop us from starting up a little fire in my fireplace out back. What did the fire consist of? Well, two junky dollar store calculators, and parts from an old broken laptop of mine. When we were burning the stuff, I had noticed I had taken out the batteries from the calculators beforehand and put them in my pocket.
I said, "Hey, what if we tossed these batteries in there?" to my friend. He reluctantly agreed.
In about five minutes, we heard a loud POP and some ashes flew up into the air. It was so cool!
A few minutes later the other one went off. It wasn't as loud, but it was still really cool.
